Sycamore Flats

Many of you may have seen the yard signs around the Town of Zionsville regarding the proposed Sycamore Flats development. This would be a Planned Unit Development (PUD) consisting of 184 apartment units.

A group of Zionsville residents is organizing in opposition to the Sycamore Flats development and could use your help in any of the following ways:

  • Attend the Town Council meeting on May 6 at 7:00PM! Wear RED! This is the most important step. If you’d like to speak publicly, you must obtain a card prior to the meeting at the town hall during office hours. They close at 4pm.
  • Volunteer!  We need feet on the ground to distribute flyers. Can you help with just a tiny corner of your neighborhood? The goal is to inform. Most people don’t realize how the apartments will impact their taxes and the traffic. If you can help, send an email to Please tell us your neighborhood when you reach out.
  • Like the Facebook page Stop Sycamore Flats. This is the best place to stay informed.
  • Send letters to town council members and the mayor. Email addresses can be found here on the Town of Zionsville website.
  • Sign the petition (once per person, please).
